 I am a military officer's wife and have been married to my
husband Jeffrey for 18 years. Being a homemaker, my husband often refers to me as the Commander and Chief of Plans and Scheduling! We are the proud parents of two beautiful boys, Kenny and Cody. Kenny, my oldest, has Tourette Syndrome and
Cody, my youngest, has Autism. As a mother of two boys with special needs, it is only natural for me to be passionate about being an advocate for special needs children.  So appropriately, the platform I have chosen to promote this year is "Embracing the Special Needs Child".  I hope to encourage parents to embrace what is special in their child, never give up, and know that there is help and hope along the way!
