My husband Jeff and I met when he came waltzing into the coffee shop I was working at and ordered a Venti Sweetened Black Iced Tea.  Who could have guessed that a dozen Black Iced Tea’s and twelve months later, we would be back at that same coffee shop, only he was giving me my change and coffee along with the key to his heart – a marriage proposal.
 
Today, we are busy with our two year old son, watching my husband coach Varsity Boy’s Basketball, rehearsing for dance performances with the Vancouver Volcanoes Dancer’s, attending Mrs. Oregon functions and setting aside time to volunteer with various organizations.  In short, we see the value of creating awareness about how to offer encouragement and promote a rounded and healthy lifestyle to today’s busy family.
