My husband Brooks and I share many deeply held values including that when you believe in yourself, magic happens--if you do that, you'll make a difference! His belief in himself is evidenced in a quiet confidence that guided this West Point graduate to become a Captain in the Army and Iraq war veteran. Brooks is the most unexpected, yet the most perfect partner to balance my life as a professional ventriloquist and magician. My belief in myself propelled me to become a performer. What's life like for a performer? It's a blessing. Over the last 10 years, I've reached thousands of children and families through my ventriloquism and magic shows promoting safety and values. Plus, with the support and encouragement of my husband, I have created and perform the show, “Come Out Of Your Shell and Get Well”, featuring Toned-Tony the Turtle, educating on Childhood Obesity Awareness and family health. Today, we need magic in our lives more than ever. It reminds us of what’s possible and what’s good. Because everyone loves puppets and magic, I make a difference by using my talents to impact their lives!
