Abraham Lincoln once said, “Whatever you are, be a good one.” Whether you are a wife,mother, sister, or friend, always remember to be a good one. I am 28 years old and blessed to have many “good ones” in my life. I am married to the sweetest man, Derek, and mother to the most precious boy, Ethan.

My own passion is leading a healthy, happy lifestyle and inspiring others to do the same.I am Director of the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program for the State of North Dakota, and I serve on the North Dakota Nutrition Council. I proudly serve my country as a Technical Sergeant in the North Dakota Air National Guard, and I am humbled at the opportunity to compete for the title of Mrs. America 2010. (I promise to be a “good one”!)
