I feel honored and humbled to represent the married women of Minnesota. First and foremost, I believe that my most important title is that of wife and mother.  I am truly blessed to have celebrated my 11th year of marriage to my best friend and husband, Sander. Together we have two very handsome and active sons. Both Sander Allen (8) and Camden (7) are very social and love to show their humor and personality.  Most often you will find us spending time outdoors, enjoying skiing, time at the lake, fishing and especially traveling.  We have been to destinations such as South Africa, Egypt, Fiji, Brazil and soon to be Cyprus.

I have proven to be a mother on the go in the community through my leadership and volunteerism in several organizations. I am very motivated and am at my best when given the chance to help others.  I believe that a woman today can have a career, family, and a rock solid marriage - all while having their beauty and femininity.

 My passion is to promote the work of the March of Dimes Foundation.  As an experienced neonatal intensive care nurse, I am an advocate to help improve the health of babies.  Through more research and education, I can make a difference so more infants can have a chance against their greatest risks. In the role of a Certified Personal Trainer, I work with the Health Improvement Partners to promote good nutrition and fitness.  I believe that obesity today in youth and adults threatens to become one of our nation’s greatest health challenges.
