Greetings, from the beautiful State of Maryland! 
 
I am a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 9 honorable years, defending our country and protecting our freedoms. Though I have hung up by boots, I still take pride in serving our country. Currently a Marketing Consultant at the Department of Veterans Affairs I see first-hand the issues regarding military veterans and their families. My pageant platform “Veterans Employment: Taking care of Our Heroes and their Families,” is close to my heart because, I not only serve Veterans, I am a one.
 
I have had a few humbling accomplishments that I am proud of both in my military and civilian careers.  I have been honored to have been selected as a” “Leader of the Future,” by Ebony magazine and selected as a “Who’s Who of America.”  As a personal accomplishment, I married a charming gentleman, Ron Thomas, an attorney and former West Point football star.  We have two beautiful children, Maria and Sophia, along with a robot named R2.

I have continuously strived to serve our country with pride, dignity and respect. Winning Mrs. America would mean serving our country again. This time instead of wearing an M16, I will be wearing a sash!
