Born and raised on an island, I grew up thinking it was normal to wear your swimsuit while dining in a restaurant. I also learned to have a natural appreciation for the simple things in life. From signing up for a competitive athletic race to making homemade sushi with my family, I am always up for a new challenge.
At the age of eight I opened my own business called Mother’s Helpers and my entrepreneurial spirit was ignited. Today I am a creative writer and author of a motivational children’s book entitled Be Your Own Dream Catcher, a human resource professional, a mother of two amazing little boys, and a blessed wife of 12 years. I also spend a portion of the holiday season writing “Letters from Santa” to children around the world.
Two years ago, my life changed when my older sister and best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer at the ripe age of 36. Moments before one of her life altering surgeries, we made a sisterly pack to live a live with passion and purpose. As Mrs. Colorado, dreams matter to me. My mission is to spread the power of living a life of passion and purpose, a life with no regrets.
