In Wisconsin, the women are smart, genuine, and caring. They are mothers, wives, and driven career women; sometimes all three. When I won Mrs. Wisconsin I literally could not believe that I would be representing all of the wonderful ladies of our state, not only at the Mrs. America Pageant, but throughout the entire year.

Wisconsin provides so many special resources and advantages, such as our beautiful forests, over 15,000 lakes, the Super Bowl-winning Packers, great Universities, the Milwaukee Zoo, as well as many other festivals and attractions. I would especially like to mention the biggest music festival in the world, Summerfest, which is held on the shores of Lake Michigan! My wonderful husband Adam and I actually met at Summerfest when I was working there as a spokes model. It has been almost 4 years since then and I have been able to marry the love of my life. Together we have been blessed with the most beautiful, smiling baby girl imaginable. As a family we love to take advantage of the opportunities that we have discovered while living in Wisconsin, the state we believe to be, the best state in America.

This year I hope to dedicate a great deal of my time to the children of Wisconsin and their educational goals. Every year in America 1 million teenagers drop out of high school and never return. As a society, working together, I truly believe that we can help solve this crisis, and over time, succeed in building a better future for Wisconsin as well as America’s children.
