There is nothing more important in life than to positively impact the people you interact with on a day-to-day basis. I have felt so blessed to have the opportunity to take on this role in a more official capacity; serving, inspiring, and learning from the many people I get to meet as Mrs. Oregon. My husband and I truly believe that world peace is possible, and that we will one day realize this ideal through the small everyday acts of kindness that we are all capable of (if we put our minds to it)! I find the strength to reach for my dreams in my husband Ben. He is my rock, my best friend, and my most enthusiastic cheerleader! I can only hope that as Mrs. Oregon (and perhaps even Mrs. America) I will be able to empower other women to feel as beautiful and courageous as he makes me feel everyday.
