It is truly astonishing to me how quickly our lives can change and take on a new and exciting course. I am ready for this wonderful new door that has opened for me and am I ready to make this year a year of accomplishments! I truly believe in my heart of hearts that when the time is right, God will guide us on the path he wants us on. Sometimes that path doesn’t happen as quickly as we like and we can be in such a hurry that we forget to let him guide us. I know this because after 3 years of competing for the title of Mrs. New York it has finally happened to me and now is the time for me to do what I am supposed to do… inspire other mothers to go after their dreams and to never give up, be a strong voice in the fight against human trafficking and to help build Western New York's first safe house for domestic victims of human trafficking, "United Hands of Hope House".
