These words have been my inspiration since I first met my wonderful husband, Demetri.  His boundless love, support and belief in me has given me the foundation to spread my wings and be the best that I can be in all aspects of my life.  He and my children Nicholas, Alexandra and Christian are the true meaning of my life and the soul of all that I do.As Mrs. Nevada-America I am working even harder to pass this philosophy on to the youth of our state and develop in them the life long desire to give back to their community while instilling in them the qualities of self-worth and leadership.  I have witnessed firsthand these amazing benefits through my work with the Community Action and Adopt-A-School Committees that I co-chair, as well as Three Square Food Bank’s Backpack for Kids Program.

 I am so grateful to be part of the 35th Anniversary Mrs. America Pageant and can’t wait to meet and learn from some of America’s most amazing, talented and inspirational women. We can all inspire America’s women to follow their dreams and be positive in their determination to shape a better future for themselves, their families and their communities!After being crowned Mrs. Nevada-America, my son Nicholas looked at me in wide-eyed amazement and said “Mommy! You’re Mrs. Nevada! I’m so proud of you!”  I am determined to live up to his vision of me and represent our great state of Nevada with love, grace and gratitude for all of my blessings.
