"I would like America to know that I am eager to unite my strengths with our amazing nation and that I will continue my commitment to work hard at finding ways to connect with women and their families in ways that encourage success through difficult times and bring awareness of their challenges. I have learned that life is a journey, a beautiful culmination of experiences and lessons.  My journey has brought me closer to  my community, my family and myself.  I am proud of the woman I have become.  Mastering the balance of being a mother, wife, mentor, community fund raiser, educator and non profit business owner has been both challenging and rewarding.  I will continue my work as a self appointed ambassador for raising funds for needed charities and cancer research while representing my state and our nation with dignity and poise.   I often say that the hard work and sacrifices made in order to help a neighbor, friend or complete stranger are the working ideas of inner beauty."
