Being crowned Mrs. Arkansas America was truly a dream come true. It is an honor to represent my family, friends, community and the beautiful state of Arkansas. With the love and support from my husband Grant, and from our wonderful children Taylor, Drake, Whitlee, Brett and Tripp, I am excited to see what the year has in store for me.

Along with them being wonderful, they are busy. This makes our family time even more precious. Whether we are just having dinner or a planned family vacation our time together is important. Being a mother has truly been the most rewarding aspect of my life. We encourage our children to have dreams and goals and even more to have determination. Through the experience of being crowned Mrs. Arkansas America, I have been able to be an example for my children. You are never too old to have a dream.

I hope to inspire the youth of Arkansas in the same way. I look forward to being able to use all of my years of music background and training to further the National Association for Music Education around the state of Arkansas. I hope my contribution to the youth of our state will be life-changing.
